The children's music school will be opened after renovation in Borze in mid-December.

Major repairs of a children's music school have been completed in the city of Borzya in the Trans-Baikal Territory. The opening is expected in mid-December, said Valentina Borodina, chairman of the Cultural Committee of the district administration.

As part of the renovation, the contractor replaced the doors and windows at the school, updated the engineering systems, and put the roof, ceiling, and floors in order. Interior finishing works were also carried out in the building.

According to ChitaMedia news agency, the opening of the school after renovation is scheduled for December 19. The work itself lasted two months, and its cost amounted to more than 17.8 million rubles.

The building of the children's music school was built in 1963. In 2010, it underwent a partial overhaul. A total of 8,000 children study music at school.
