On December 2, Yaroslavl hockey club Lokomotiv lost to St. Petersburg SKA with a score of 3:4 in the regular season match of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), having suffered three defeats in a row.

The game took place in Yaroslavl. Nikita Cherepanov scored goals for Lokomotiv in the 7th minute, Alexander Radulov in the 33rd minute and Maxim Shalunov in the 49th. As part of SKA, Brendan Laipsik scored goals in the 22nd minute, Sergey Plotnikov in the 36th, Andrey Pedan in the 59th and Marat Khairullin in the 64th.

Lokomotiv is in third place in the Western Conference of the KHL, with 44 points after 34 meetings. SKA ranks seventh in the West with 34 points from 30 games. The Yaroslavl team will play its next game on December 4 against Amur, and SKA will face Admiral on the same day.

Earlier, on November 25, SKA St. Petersburg beat CSKA Moscow in the KHL regular season match. The meeting held in Moscow at the CSKA Arena stadium ended with the result 4:1 (0:0, 2:0, 2:1) in favor of the Petersburgers.
