Xzibit for pumping: the rapper in Moscow demanded alcohol for 100 thousand and diet

Legendary rapper, actor and TV presenter Xzibit returns to Russia, but demands special treatment for his requests. The star of the TV show "A car for pumping" will give concerts on December 3 in Moscow and on December 4 in St. Petersburg: Russia will be part of a world tour in support of the artist's new album Kingmaker. Fans have been waiting for this release for 12 years. On the eve of Xzibit's visit to Russia, Izvestia learned the details of the artist's concert tour. It turned out that the rapper's mandatory requirements include exclusive chocolate—flavored tequila and chicken breast.

Chocolate-scented tequila and steamed broccoli

Izvestia became aware of the conditions put forward by the artist on the tour. The requirements for the organizers include several names of expensive alcohol. Xzibit turned out to be a lover of exclusive tequila with the taste of roasted agave and the aroma of chocolate. The rider has two bottles of Don Julio 1942 tequila, 750 ml (22 thousand rubles per bottle), Hennessy XO cognac, 750 ml —25 thousand per bottle) and Grey Goose French vodka (3 thousand bottle). This is a very modest alcoholic set. The nutritional requirements are even more modest. The artist in the dressing room needs water, juices, chips, sweets, a cheese-meat-vegetable plate. And hot meals after the concert. Xzibit prefers diet cuisine — steamed chicken breasts and steamed or grilled vegetables. The rapper does not put forward any special conditions for preparing for the concert either. Xzibit doesn't even have an individual dressing room, but a shared one with its musicians.

— I've been on stage since 1996. For so many years, being interesting to listeners, performing and recording songs has been a blessing and a privilege for an artist," says Xzibit.

In addition to music, during his career, the rapper was noted for his prominent roles in films and TV series. He has three dozen roles on his record. Xzibit can be seen in the hits "Empire", "The X-Files: I want to Believe", "Bad Lieutenant", "Hawaii 5.0", "8 Mile", "The Price of Treason". And the TV show "Pumping Car" on the MTV channel made Xzibit a superstar. Even those who had never listened to hip-hop found out about him. As the artist admitted in a conversation with Izvestia, he is now focusing all his energy on music. "But eventually, when I return to acting, I would like to star in an international film or TV series," Xzibit admitted. "That would be amazing!"

This is the second time in a year that Xzibit arrives to perform in Moscow — the first time was in September at the Street Drive Extreme Sports Festival. For the sake of the September 27 concert, the rapper even canceled a show in the USA, in Tempe. Then Xzibit met with Izvestia and confessed his love for Moscow.

"I like going to local restaurants and visiting my friends,— Xzibit said. — I have many friends in Moscow. We have a good time, and it's always great. And I usually do a concert or a show here. So I love coming to Moscow.

Now Xzibit will premiere in Moscow and St. Petersburg the first Kingmaker album in 12 years. He explained it to Izvestia as follows::

— Why am I going to Russia? Because you like this damn music! I'm going to put on a really cool show. I still love music. I like to create something that attracts people and in which they find something relevant. I will come with the full complement of my group. We want to really make an impression and give the fans something they've never received from us before. It's very exciting for me!

The rapper will present the Kingmaker show dedicated to the release of the album of the same name to the Russians. It was released on the label of legendary UFC fighter Conor McGregor. The Kingmaker recording featured a super-assembled West Coast hip-hop group: Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, Busta Rhymes, Redman, B-Real and Ty Dolla $ign.

Kingmaker is the mature work of an artist who remains true to his roots and does not adjust to trends.

— A Kingmaker is someone who helps others. I've been lucky enough to meet a lot of people like that in my life, and now it's my turn to help the next generation of artists," says Xzibit.

In addition to the famous names, a new generation of rappers took part in the recording of the album: Compton AV, Guapdad4000 and Tre Capital. Xzibit promises fans a powerful and fiery hip-hop show.

The musician promises surprises. And they should be judged by the poster. The broken—down rapper on it is in a strict black suit, white shirt and tie. On December 3, Xzibit will perform at VK Stadium in Moscow. The artist will present new tracks and really light up, as promised to the fans. And on December 4, he will travel to St. Petersburg, where he will perform at the A2 club. Tickets for Xzibit cost the same as for concerts of Russian pop stars.
