Family psychologist Daria Salnikova told how to survive the New Year's rush and celebrate the holiday happy.

In an interview with Radio 1 on December 1, she advised to start preparing for the holidays in advance and reconsider your attitude to "mandatory" cases.

She noted that a calm December begins with reasonable planning: you should not postpone everything for the last ten days, and now you can do something that saves time and nerves, for example, order gifts without fuss and queues. According to her, such preparation helps to choose the right things, meet the budget and gradually adjust to the holidays.

The expert stressed that not all cases have a strict deadline "until December 31." Some tasks do need to be completed, but many are just our internal installations, and they can be safely postponed to January. She suggested asking yourself what is really important to complete before the New Year, and what will wait.

Salnikova added that people often create an artificial race for themselves, although December 31 is just a date. The desire to close all personal files before the chimes only increases the pressure. According to her, by allowing yourself to enter the new year gradually, you can avoid stress and fulfill some of your plans in January — calmly and consciously.

On November 28, clinical psychologist Marianna Abravitova explained the nature of the New Year's blues. According to her, there can be a number of reasons for this condition, from financial to a personal reassessment of the past period of life. The main reason for this condition lies in the gap between expectation and reality, writes RT.

On November 24, psychologist Alexandra Demina called for planning New Year's expenses in advance to avoid stress. According to her, if holidays are associated with negative memories or traumas, it is worth seeking help from friends, psychologists or psychotherapists, notes 360.ru .

On November 5, psychologist Daria Salnikova told us how to reach the New Year without burnout. To save energy until the end of the year, the psychologist advises not to strive to fulfill a one hundred percent plan and allow yourself to reduce your workload, look for a balance between work and rest, do not demand super efforts from yourself and soberly assess your strength, avoiding inflated expectations.

Also on November 5, anxiety psychologist Pavel Zhavnerov listed the main stress markers. According to him, an important alarm bell is a condition when a person, irritated or worried, experiences physical sensations, writes NSN.
