Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin presented orders and medals of the Order of Parental Glory for their contribution to the upbringing of children and the strengthening of family values. He announced this in the MACH messenger, emphasizing that "parents with many children are performing a feat."

Orders were awarded to Svetlana and Vladimir Dubinin, as well as Elena and Maxim Sazonov — they raised eight children. The parents of seven children, Nadezhda and Konstantin Ryzhak, are also among the awardees. In addition, Evgenia and Andrey Budtolaev, Ekaterina and Roman Reutov received awards — there are six children in each family.

According to Sobyanin, in a decade and a half, the number of large families in Moscow has grown 3.7 times to 240 thousand. 612 thousand children are brought up in them.

The mayor recalled that parents receive comprehensive social support. Thus, families with 10 or more children are additionally compensated for minors every month. There are also annual payments for International Family Day and Knowledge Day.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
