On December 2, the State Duma prematurely terminated the powers of deputy Anatoly Voronovsky, who was deprived of immunity, based on his statement.

In November, Voronovsky wrote a letter of early resignation after a bribery case was opened against him. The State Duma agreed to strip him of his mandate.
