Former Secretary General of the Diplomatic Service of the European Union (EU) Stefano Sannino has been detained in a fraud case. This was reported on December 2 by the newspaper Le Soir, citing sources.

"According to our information, the other detainees for interrogation are the head of the College of Europe and former Secretary General of the European External Action Service (2021-2025), Italian diplomat Stefano Sannino," the publication says.
