The Porsche Russland company, which is the official representative of the Porsche brand in Russia, has confirmed that in recent days it has been recording an increase in the number of applications from Russian owners of Porsche cars to dealers due to engine start problems. This was reported on December 2 by RIA Novosti.

Representatives of Porsche Russland said they were seeing a "slight increase in the number of calls" to official dealerships due to problems with starting the engine. Previously, this situation is not related to the design features of cars. The company noted that they intend to study the situation in more detail.

The Rolf company reported on the eve that Russian owners of Porsche cars may face blocking of vehicles. They said that the problem lies in blocking the standard alarm via satellite. According to the company, it is possible to bypass the lock only by restarting the standard alarm unit and disassembling it.

Earlier, on November 13, auto expert Alexander Kovalev said that Skoda Superb and Octavia cars, which can be found on the Russian secondary market, often have problems with electrics, regardless of generation, from control units to contacts in door harnesses. He added that the Skoda Fabia and Rapid also have doubts about gearboxes, especially on cars from 2008-2011 with the preselective "robot" DQ200.
