Domclick experts assessed the demand for daily rent during the New Year holidays

Daily rental of real estate during the New Year holidays will be most in demand in Moscow, Kazan and St. Petersburg. This was told by analysts of Sberbank's Domclick service based on the results of a study of data on the tourist demand of Russian cities during the upcoming holidays.

As in the previous year, the most popular cities for daily rentals during the New Year period were Moscow (14% of the total number of bookings), Kazan (10%) and St. Petersburg (7%). Nizhny Novgorod (5.6%), Krasnodar (2%) and Yekaterinburg (1.6%) also entered the top 15 among the cities with millions.

This season, tourists, especially from the Moscow agglomeration, travel to nearby cities — Kostroma (3.8%), Yaroslavl (2.5%) and Ryazan (2%). The resort towns of Kislovodsk (4.4%), Yalta (3.1%) and Pyatigorsk (1.5%) are also still in high demand. Other popular destinations include Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk (2%) and Pskov (1.6%).

The highest daily rental rate remains in Moscow — 5,9 thousand rubles, which, however, is 13% cheaper than at the end of 2024. At that time, the daily rental rate was about 6.8 thousand rubles per day. Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk has equaled Moscow in terms of rental price this time, where the average rental rate is also 5.9 thousand rubles. Also, the three most expensive destinations included Kislovodsk (5,8 thousand rubles) and Yekaterinburg (5,7 thousand rubles). Nizhny Novgorod lagged only slightly behind the capital of the Urals (5,6 thousand rubles).

Pskov became the most affordable among popular destinations, where the average rental rate was 4 thousand rubles. Thus, Pskov became the cheapest city in the top 15 of the rating. Krasnodar and Kostroma also entered the top three in this indicator (both - 4.3 thousand rubles each).
