According to the results of 11 months of 2025, the Moscow Residential Renovation Fund again took the first place among Russian developers in terms of housing commissioning. This was stated by Vladimir Yefimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Planning and Construction.
"Following the results of 11 months, the Moscow Renovation Fund once again took the first place in terms of housing commissioning among construction companies in Moscow and throughout Russia. Since the beginning of 2025, more than 1.5 million square meters of housing have been built in the capital as part of the renovation program. At the same time, it is planned to build another 8.7 million square meters of housing in the next three years, thanks to which more than 215,000 Muscovites will move or begin moving into new apartments," said Vladimir Yefimov.
During the reporting period, the construction of more than 80 houses for the resettlement of renovation program participants was completed in the capital, which provided over 23 thousand new apartments. All facilities are built taking into account the principles of a barrier-free environment.
Vladislav Ovchinsky, Minister of the Moscow Government and head of the Department of Urban Planning Policy, said that the city is creating a full-fledged residential environment with a developed infrastructure, paying special attention to the quality of new homes. He noted that the execution of the work and the materials used are regularly checked by the relevant services.
The Mosgosstroynadzor clarified that the construction of renovation houses is under constant supervision. In total, more than 750 control and supervisory measures have been carried out at the sites, after which the facilities are put into operation.
Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported that new renovation houses can reduce resource consumption by up to 40% compared to panel five-story buildings. The program, approved in 2017, covers about one million residents and includes the resettlement of 5,176 houses.
