The State Duma has ratified an intergovernmental agreement between Russia and India on the procedure for sending military personnel, as well as some military equipment to each other's territory. The decision was made on Tuesday, December 2, at a plenary session of the lower house.

The Russian Cabinet submitted the document for consideration by the House of Parliament in November this year.
