A new Zubr car brand appeared in Belarus

A new Zubr car brand is entering the Belarusian market. The production of models will be set up at the Unison plant, donors for these machines are Chinese cars of the Forhing brand (also known as Fengxing in China), reports AV.By .

Five models will enter the market: Legenda, Volat, Talisman, Zorka and Relikt. In China, they are known by the names SX3, T5, T5L, T5 EVO and Hedmos. Starting prices range from 59.9 thousand to 79.9 thousand Belarusian rubles (about 1.6-2.1 million Russian rubles).

As the company noted, Zubr's localization level will grow over time, and they will begin to receive more Belarusian components. Due to the local assembly, Chinese models have been adapted to the Belarusian climate.

In Russia, the distributor of the Forthing brand is Ixen Motors, which offers T5 and T5 Evo crossovers, M7 and Yacht minivans.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that Russian car factories have started assembling cars of the Chinese brands Jetour, Changan and Soueast. In a presentation by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation on the status of domestic production sites (available to Izvestia), it was clarified that previously it had not been officially reported that these models had joined the assembly line of domestic enterprises.
