Law enforcement officers of the Amur region stopped illegal coal mining, which caused damage in excess of 65 million rubles. This was announced on December 2 by the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Irina Volk.

"In the Amur region, as a result of a large-scale interdepartmental operation, illegal mining was suppressed. <...> As a result of operational search measures, the police found out that a group of "black diggers" carried out illegal mining of brown coal grade 2B. The attackers did not have a license to use the subsoil, lease or sale agreements for the land, or any other permission," the Telegram channel says.
