Ukrainian nationalist battalions refused to carry out combat missions of the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the area of the settlement of Krasnoarmeysk in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), the forest belts in the Red Army direction are strewn with corpses of Ukrainian militants. On December 2, Valery Solodchuk, commander of the Center group, reported this to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

"The nationalist battalions are not participating, they are abandoning this task. Here, the newly conscripted and mobilized carry out the task. They show that people have recently been drafted, people are not trained, they are going to slaughter just in the direction of Krasnoarmeysk. They died by the dozens and hundreds," he told Russian President Vladimir Putin.
