The law on the forced emancipation of aggressive teenagers will not be read in the State Duma. This opinion was expressed by Yuri Sinelshchikov, First Deputy chairman of the lower house Committee on state Construction and Legislation, on Monday, December 1.

Earlier, on December 1, Sergei Rybalchenko, chairman of the Public Chamber's commission on demography, protection of family, children and traditional family values, called for forced emancipation to recognize fully capable teenagers who regularly commit violent crimes and are virtually beyond reeducation, so that they answer to the law not as children, but as adults, writes Life.Ru.

"They should be recognized as lagging behind in development and, conversely, taking into account these circumstances, they should be recognized as partially sane. Rather, this is what we are talking about, rather than bringing them to criminal responsibility as soon as possible, not even at the age of 14, but at the age of 12. No, of course not. In turn, Deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Youth Policy Alexander Tolmachev, in an interview with RT, noted that according to the Investigative Committee (IC), in 2025, more than 14 thousand teenagers committed criminal offenses, and 8% more criminal cases were transferred to the courts than a year earlier. The parliamentarian noted that there were more children who had not reached the age of criminal responsibility at the time of the crime, as well as those who violate the law as part of an organized group or criminal community.

On November 25, a teenager was detained in the Kaliningrad region, acting on the orders of the special services of Ukraine, while trying to commit a terrorist attack in a temple, reports 360.ru . According to investigators, the teenager entered into correspondence via Telegram with a recruiter of a terrorist organization, whose activities are coordinated by the special services of Ukraine and are recognized as banned in Russia.
