Andrey Kostin, the head of VTB, said that he was calm about discounts and sales on marketplaces and advocated ensuring equal conditions for all banks operating on such platforms. He reported this on December 1 to the Reuters news agency.

"In the USA and China, laws seriously restrict the ability of a marketplace and a bank to operate in the same structure. But I am calm about our colleagues. The only principle is that there should be an equal approach. As it is, let them develop, no one is against discounts, everyone loves cashbacks and discounts," he said.
