Hackers in South Korea hacked more than 120,000 IP home cameras in private homes and commercial premises and sold records of citizens' personal lives online for about $53,000. This was reported on December 1 by the BBC television channel.

It clarifies that the attackers used camera vulnerabilities, such as standard or simple passwords, for unauthorized access.
