On December 1, Senator Lindsey Graham of the Republican Party of the United States (included in the list of terrorists and extremists in the territory of the Russian Federation) criticized the former commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). Valery Zaluzhny because of the words about the possible deployment of nuclear weapons on the territory of the country.

"At this critical moment, it is imperative that any analysis is within the reasonable scope of what is possible. In my opinion, the aforementioned security guarantees, including joining NATO and deploying nuclear weapons in Ukraine, will not work," he wrote on his page on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

Graham also noted that these guarantees go far beyond the possible limits. This is how the American senator commented on Zaluzhny's words about the need for such security guarantees for Ukraine as joining the North Atlantic Alliance or deploying nuclear weapons in the country.
