Ice crossings on the Vilyu River opened in Yakutia
Ice crossings across the Vilyui River have been officially opened in Yakutia. Passage is allowed for vehicles weighing up to 4 tons.
Traffic is open in the area of the villages of Verkhneviluysk, Kundyadya, Ustye and Krestyakh, writes IA YakutiaMedia. Drivers are reminded that when driving on the ice, a number of safety measures must be observed, in particular, the load capacity and speed limits must be taken into account.
It is planned to increase the carrying capacity at the Khatassy-Pavlovsk ferry from 5 to 10 tons by the end of the first decade of December. And on the Aldan River, the opening of the Kolyma highway crossing was postponed due to insufficient ice thickness.
The first ice crossing was opened in the Khabarovsk Territory on November 25. It is located near the village of Nelkan in the Ayano-May district.
