The Verkhovna Rada announced that Ermak was banned from leaving the country.
Ukrainian border guards have received an order banning the ex-head of the office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Ermak, from leaving the country. This was announced on December 1 by Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Alexei Goncharenko (listed in the Russian Federation as a terrorist and extremist).
"A letter has arrived at the border checkpoints banning Andrey Ermak from leaving Ukraine," Goncharenko wrote on his Telegram channel.
On the same day, the Ukrainska Pravda newspaper reported that representatives of the entourage of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky had set up a secret chat to coordinate actions to dismiss Ermak. It was clarified that the exact list of chat participants is unknown.
Zelensky announced Ermak's resignation on November 28. On the same day, Verkhovna Rada deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak spoke about the searches at Ermak's house in the framework of the criminal case on corruption against businessman Timur Mindich (he is called the head of the criminal scheme).
On November 30, the Department of Internal Affairs of the Military-Civil Administration of the Kharkiv region reported that a criminal case had been opened against Ermak. He is suspected of complicity in the preparation, initiation and conduct of aggressive hostilities, as well as the use of prohibited means and methods of conflict.
