The names of the contenders for the victory in the nomination "ABOUT the Pro: about the teacher in his own words" of the All–Russian competition "ABOUT Education - 2025" have become known. Among the nominees is Sergey Prudnikov, a special correspondent for the Izvestia newspaper. He prepared a material on the work of teachers in the Donetsk People's Republic.

In the article, the Izvestia journalist reported on the implementation of the Zemsky Uchitel program in the region. He told about the first volunteers who came to teach children in Donbass.

"My heroines are three women who came to the republic from different regions of Russia – from St. Petersburg, Saratov region, Khabarovsk Territory. Oksana Gennadievna Bulatova is a primary school teacher in the village of Dmitrievka, which is not far from the infamous Volnovakha. Lyudmila Nikolaevna Leus teaches history in the village of Starobeshevo, the center of the original Greek settlement. Tatiana Vladimirovna Naumochkina is a teacher of Russian language and literature in the Azov region, in the village of Kamyshevatoe, near Mariupol," Prudnikov said.

The organizer of the All–Russian competition "ABOUT Education – 2025" is the Ministry of Education of Russia, the operator is the Center for Educational Initiatives of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation. The competition is held annually to identify and disseminate the best practices in media coverage of initiatives and projects aimed at developing the education system.
