The Netherlands has signed an agreement with Ukraine on the joint production of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This was announced on December 1 by the Minister of Defense of the Kingdom, Ruben Brekelmans.
"With my Ukrainian colleague Denis Shmygal, I am signing a joint production agreement ("Build With Ukraine")," he wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
Drones are planned to be manufactured in both countries. According to Brekelmans, the agreement on the joint creation of UAVs strengthens the security, sustainability and innovation of the two countries.
Earlier, on October 10, Brekelmans announced the allocation of €200 million to Ukraine for anti-drone systems. In addition, he added at the time that the states had also concluded an agreement on the joint production of military equipment.
