A new episode may be added to the Razin case for forging a contract with Shatunov.
In the case of the ex-producer of the group "Tender May" Andrey Razin, a new episode related to fraud may appear. Lawyer Oleg Sitnikov informed Izvestia about this on December 1.
He explained that the capital's courts are considering a claim to invalidate the will in respect of the property of the late lead singer of the band Yuri Shatunov. The singer's relatives discovered the document, which, according to them, was falsified by Razin.
According to the 2013 agreement, Shatunov gave the producer the right to demand that his name be suppressed. According to the family's defense, Razin added six more sheets to the contract signed by Shatunov — on these pages it was allegedly written that the singer was giving him his personal data, "selling" his first and last name. According to the lawyer, the contract is estimated at about 5-10 million rubles.
Sitnikov noted that at that time, Russia already had a law on the protection of personal data, which could affect the legality of such agreements. Despite this, the disputed document was attached by Razin's side to the case file as evidence of the illegality of the actions of the notary who certified the disputed will. The Shatunov family's defense team intends to demand the minutes of the court hearing in the civil case in order to later attach it to the materials of the producer's criminal case as a new episode.
On November 24, lawyer Assel Mukhtarova-Kazarnovskaya told Izvestia that Razin had been charged with fraud on an especially large scale. According to the investigation, the producer for a long time used a fake contract with the author of the songs "Tender May" Sergey Kuznetsov and received money as the copyright holder. The poet's widow was recognized as a victim in the case.
Later, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation put Razin on the wanted list, and the material damage in the criminal case against him amounted to about 500 million rubles. On November 25, it was reported that the producer may be hiding in the United States. It was clarified that Razin also has Turkish citizenship.
