The owner of the hotel, Alexander Ebralidze, was declared bankrupt in 2022. The sale of his property began. The Talion Hotel was put up for sale back in 2011. In 2025, it was bought by a structure associated with the Senator business center network. The company did not comment on its future plans for the hotel.
