U.S. Special Envoy Steven Whitkoff is scheduled to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow on Tuesday, December 2. This was announced on December 1 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
"Yes, the meeting with Witkoff is scheduled for tomorrow. He actually said it himself yesterday," the press secretary of the head of state said at a briefing.
He added that negotiations should begin in the afternoon.
On November 30, US President Donald Trump noted that negotiations with the Ukrainian delegation in Florida had gone well. He added that his special envoy, Steven Witkoff, would travel to Moscow on December 1 to meet with Putin the next day.
