Kiev agents tried to blow up a Russian officer in Crimea
Russian security forces prevented a large-scale terrorist attack in Crimea, the target of which was supposed to be a high-ranking officer. The Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) under the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine recruited agents and gave them the task to blow up a military car. Kirill Olkov, a correspondent for Izvestia, told the details of the operation on December 1.e
The perpetrator of the failed assassination attempt in Crimea has been eliminated. He tried to blow up the car of a high-ranking Russian officer in the courtyard of an apartment building. About 2 kg of rdx would be enough to destroy everything within a radius of half a kilometer. His accomplice did not resist during the arrest.
The security forces seized the performer's Ukrainian rights, flag and phones to contact the curator. And a defused explosive device: two electric detonators, a control panel with SIM cards, a modem with a trident and a container with a Western-made plastic explosive Si-4. The terrorist had to erase his fingerprints with hydrogen peroxide, and then attach it to the bottom of the car using magnets.
"When preparing terrorist attacks, Fakhriev assigned his agent the task of planting an IED (improvised explosive device. — Ed.) with additional striking elements to increase the number of victims," said an operative of the FSB of Russia.
The security forces knew in advance about the terrorists' plans. An audio recording that got to the Russian counterintelligence service helped to identify the customer.
— Let's just kill someone there already, some general.
— Yes, I understand, everything is so easy and simple.
The voice of the interlocutor, according to the security forces, belongs to Rustem Fakhriev, the organizer of the failed bombing. An employee of the GUR of Ukraine gives remote instructions and a tip to the contractor.
"I'll send you the address now, and I'll send you the photo. As soon as they open it, you can stick a knife in your throat, okay?" he said.
The representative of the GUR of Ukraine speaks Russian. In 2014, he was one of the first to apply for Russian citizenship. Then, after leaving Crimea, he joined the Ukrainian national battalion "Donbass" (recognized as a terrorist organization in the Russian Federation, activity is prohibited). A veteran of the so—called ATO (the conflict in Donbass in 2014) and an adherent of the Mejlis organization (recognized as an extremist organization in the Russian Federation, its activities are prohibited) — he even got a tattoo with its symbol - personally supervised the assassination attempt on the officer and was not going to spare even his wife and child.
"To kill not only Russian military personnel and government officials, but innocent women and children. In fact, Fakhriev is one of the representatives of the Ukrainian nationalist, Nazi scum," the FSB operative emphasized.
Fakhriev's accomplice, who was detained in Crimea, turned out to be his closest relative. And this is how the militant himself speaks about his family: "Lena says to me — let's sell the car, maybe? I tell her, I'll sell you ***** right now."
Fakhriev participated in GUR operations abroad more than once, as he says in telephone conversations, "went to work" in Lebanon and Afghanistan. He maimed and killed in the interests of Western sponsors, including those commissioned by the British intelligence service Mi6.
"The bloody regime of [Ukrainian President Vladimir] Zelensky now needs to earn money from sponsors and try to attract new ones — to show that he is still alive. Zelensky gives instructions to the special services," said Andrei Popov, a reserve lieutenant colonel and a veteran of the Alpha special antiterrorism unit.
On November 19, employees of the Russian FSB directorate for the DPR detained a local resident suspected of treason and preparing a terrorist act in the interests of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. It was clarified that the accused, on the instructions of Ukrainian curators, extracted components for the manufacture of improvised explosive devices from caches. He also carried out surveillance on a high-ranking official of the regional government and planned to commit a terrorist attack.
