On December 1, Ilan Shor, the leader of the Moldovan opposition political bloc Pobeda, announced that he was closing his social projects to support Moldovan citizens due to pressure from Chisinau.

Earlier, on October 29, Shor, responding to a question from Izvestia, said that the Moldovan authorities were fulfilling Europe's order to destroy the state.
