The new Tenet T9 crossover will be launched in Kaluga in 2026.
The AGR Holding automobile plant in Kaluga plans to start production of the Tenet T9 crossover in 2026. This was stated by the company's CEO Andrey Karagin, TASS reported on December 1.
The Tenet T9 will be the fourth model of the Russian brand after the compact crossover T4, mid-size T7 and seven-seat T8, which were launched in the summer.
The Tenet T9 is based on the Chinese Chery Tiggo 9, which currently costs from 4.25 to 4.55 million rubles in Russia, according to <url> Magazine. The length of the model is 4810 mm with a wheelbase of 2800 mm. The crossover has a three-row interior with a seating formula 2+3+2 .
It is assumed that the Tenet T9 will be equipped with a two-liter 245-horsepower engine with an automatic transmission, the power plant allows you to accelerate from zero to "hundreds" in 8 seconds and reach 220 km/ h.
Earlier, on November 25, it was reported that the AGR Holding plant in Kaluga, which previously produced Volkswagen cars, has produced the 30-thousandth car of the Russian brand Tenet since the launch of the assembly line in July.
