A prisoner from the Armed Forces of Ukraine told about the extortion by the commander

The Ukrainian military of the 57th separate motorized Infantry Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) transferred 20 thousand hryvnias to their commander's card every month. On December 1, Igor Artsimovich, a soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who was captured near Volchansk, told about this.

"There was corruption in the brigade, extortion, and most of the uniforms were bought at their own expense. <...> The money was deposited on a card to Maxim Alexandrovich Kuzmin, the brigade commander. [hryvnias] monthly," the TASS news agency quoted him as saying.
