In the Smolensk region, one Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) was shot down by the air defense forces on duty at the Russian Ministry of Defense. This was announced on December 1 by the governor of the region Vasily Anokhin.

"There are no casualties or infrastructure damage. Operational services are working at the crash site," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
