Rosaccreditation refuted the ban on the import of right-hand drive cars to Russia

The lawsuit before the Primorsky Krai Arbitration Court to revoke the license of a laboratory that illegally issued safety certificates for vehicle construction (SBCTS) did not concern the legality of importing right-hand drive vehicles into Russia. "It is important to emphasize that the subject matter of the trial in no way affected the legality of the importation and handling of right-hand drive vehicles on the territory of the Russian Federation. The court considered exclusively the legality of issuing individual SBCTS for specific cars and the legality of the actions of a certain laboratory," the department said.
