The Russian national short track team has won two quotas for participation in the Olympic Games of 2026 (OI-2026), which will be held in Italy, following the results of the qualification in the framework of the World Tour. This became known on November 30.
It is noted that Russia has quotas for men's distances of 1 thousand km. m and 1.5 thousand . In the women's 500 m and 1,000 m distances, however, the quotas are not nominal.
"The names of the participants will be announced after the official confirmation of quotas," the TASS news agency quoted the press service of the Russian Skating Union.
