The NATO bloc is discussing the possibility of launching alleged pre-emptive strikes on Russian territory. This was announced on November 30 by the head of the alliance's military committee, Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone.

"We are acting rather reactively. We are thinking about acting more aggressively or actively, rather than reactively," the Financial Times newspaper quoted him as saying.
