Washington defeated the Islanders in an away NHL match

The Washington Capitals hockey Club defeated the New York Islanders on November 30 during a guest match of the National Hockey League (NHL) regular season.

The confrontation on the ice arena ended with a score of 4:1. During the game, Russian Alexander Ovechkin scored a goal and an assist, which helped Washington to win.

"Bo Horvath was the author of the Islanders' only abandoned goal in this game. Ilya Sorokin, the Russian goalkeeper of the team, deflected 14 shots at his own goal," Sport-Express informs.
