Viking beat Bud Glimt in the fight for the Norwegian Football Champions title

Buda-Glimt, for which Russian goalkeeper Nikita Khaykin plays, finished the season in second place in the Norwegian Football Championship, losing the title by just one point to Viking from Stavanger.

In the last, 30th round, Buda-Glimt beat Fredrikstad (5:0), and Viking was stronger than Volerenga (5:1).

At the end of the season, Viking scored 71 points and became the Norwegian champion for the ninth time, for the first time since 1991. Buda-Glimt, which won the previous two championships, finished second with 70 points. Tromso took the third place (57 points).
