In Sydney, a fire and explosion occurred at a waste recycling plant. This was announced on November 30 on the official website of the New South Wales Rescue Service.

"More than 200 firefighters have contained the flames that engulfed a waste recycling plant in North St. Marys in western Sydney overnight," the report said.

It is specified that more than 50 fire brigades were involved in extinguishing the fire. During the work, two firefighters received minor hand injuries. Employees of the Environmental Protection Agency, police and ambulance crews continue to work at the site. The causes of the incident are still being determined.

On November 21, a major fire occurred on the container ship "1 Henry Hudson" in the port of Los Angeles in San Pedro Bay. According to preliminary data, the fire started as a result of an electrical short circuit under the deck of the vessel. The fire spread to several levels and compartments of the ship.
