Ukraine and Norway have agreed to jointly produce drones for the country's Armed Forces. This was announced on November 30 by the head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense Denis Shmygal.

"Ukraine and Norway will jointly produce Ukrainian drones. The relevant document was signed with Norwegian Defense Minister Tore Sandvik. This is an important step that will allow us to scale up our capabilities and strengthen Ukraine's defense," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to the minister, Kiev will receive a "strong production site" that will supply the Armed Forces with modern drones, as well as "scientific and research cooperation with leading Norwegian institutions."

The Times newspaper reported on November 5 that Norway intends to provide Ukraine with a loan of €100 billion. At the same time, the initiative can be implemented by securing debt at the expense of the national sovereign wealth fund in the amount of €1.7 trillion.
