Shilovsky's death became known on November 26. The actor died at the age of 87. Pavel Shilovsky, the artist's son, said that his father had lived an interesting, eventful and beautiful life. Pavel called him a responsible father who always gave correct life instructions.
On the same day, Vyacheslav Nevinniy, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, called Shilovsky an amazing artist, director and film actor. The actor added that he felt an almost kindred feeling for Shilovsky, and his passing away was an irreparable loss for him.
