- The audience shared their impressions after the premiere of the film "There is only a Moment"
The film story, whose heroes united during the Great Patriotic War to make their dream come true, is already on big screens. The heroic comedy "There is only a Moment" has been widely released. In the film, a Soviet pilot, who was sent to a false airfield after being wounded, finds a MiG—3 fighter jet forgotten in the forest and wants to take it back to the sky. The film about the feat of the Soviet people is filled with exciting aerial combat scenes, brilliant acting and humorous episodes. Izvestia film critic Nikolai Nikulina told in more detail about what else impressed the first audience.
The new film "There is only a Moment" directed by Alexander Zhigalkin and produced by Igor Ugolnikov is made with human intonation and respect for historical events. It's rare to see movies on big screens today that resemble good Soviet classics.
The action takes place in 1944. Daniil Popov's hero, pilot Ivan Polivanov, is transferred to a false airfield. There he finds new friends, and in the forest is a damaged MiG—3 fighter jet, which he dreams of repairing in order to return to the sky.
"I personally did not know about such a military structure as a false airfield before this project. Authentic planes, vehicles, weapons and uniforms. And this whole entourage is very immersive," said actor Daniil Popov.
The master of the acting workshop, Vladimir Ilyin, plays the role of mechanic Murashkin, who previously owned the MiG-3. Alexey Shevchenkov — in the role of managing the economy at the airfield. Sofia Lopunova is responsible for the romantic line. And cameraman Nikolai Smirnov — for filming spectacular aerial battles. The film is already at the box office, and does not leave the audience indifferent.
"He shows about the feat of the pilots with such a positive attitude. This is a very kind film," said Nina Anatolyevna, a spectator from St. Petersburg.
According to Maria from Yekaterinburg, the audience was crying and having fun. People liked the painting.
"It's a wonderful mental impression that the war is shown not only in terms of the fact that we see only suffering, but at the same time, some kind of energy comes from these people. Great actors," said Vladimir, a spectator from Gelendzhik.
It is no coincidence that the creators themselves compare their film with Soviet classics — for example, with the film "Only old men go into battle" by Leonid Bykov. It's all about the mood. They show us a story in which there is no place for human vices, but there is a place for human passions. There are different characters in the frame, not always perfect, but each of them is interesting.
"The first reviews appeared on the Internet. The audience notes — and quite reasonably — the brilliant acting. For example: "Vladimir Ilyin masterfully embodied the inner world of his character, his mental anguish and pain." And also an important role in the film, despite the comedic component, was played by documentary accuracy. Vitaly writes: "Everything is real: from the life of pilots to technology. The eye is happy, honestly!" said film critic Nikulin.
Mockups of real fighters were used. A consultation with historians was held. On the set, the actors literally lived out their roles.
"When we were filming the scene where we sing to the accordion, there were explosions. And they really were. And it was really a little scary. That is, you didn't play in the process, but you really felt very uncomfortable," said actress Sofya Lopunova.
The audience agrees: the special effects, combat scenes, and plot are all elements of the film at the highest level.
"Great acting. There's betrayal, there's love, there's military themes," said Daria, a spectator from Irkutsk.
Varvara, a spectator from St. Petersburg, noted that you can safely go to the film with your children, even if this is their first war movie.
It's a movie that needs to be watched on the big screen. And if you haven't gone yet, then it's time to do it.
On November 27, the premiere of the film "There is only a Moment" about the feat of Soviet citizens who aspired to their dreams during the Great Patriotic War took place in Moscow. The premiere of the film took place on Novy Arbat and gathered viewers of different generations. Film critic Nikolai Nikulin said on November 13 that "There is Only a Moment" is a unique fusion of history, high-quality action and comedy, which is worth watching.
