Polling stations for parliamentary elections opened in Kyrgyzstan

Polling stations for early elections to the Jogorku Kenesh (unicameral parliament) They opened in Kyrgyzstan at 08:00 (05:00 Moscow time). A total of 2,492 polling stations have started work, including 27 remote voting stations and 100 abroad. This was announced on November 30 by the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Kyrgyzstan on its website.

"For the first time in our country, remote voting is used in elections, designed to ensure the widest possible access of citizens to the electoral process without first submitting an application," said Tynchtyk Shaynazarov, Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Kyrgyz Republic.
