Russians should not spend New Year's holidays in warm countries, because in this case the body will have difficulties in climatic adaptation. This was announced on November 30 by Gennady Onishchenko, Deputy President of the Russian Academy of Education, on the sidelines of the V Congress of Young Scientists.

"There is no need to go to warm countries. We have the inertia of adaptation. They'll go there, and they'll need to adapt to the heat, the time, and the food for a week and a half. Then they return to a cold and humid climate, and the body needs to [adapt] again," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
