The Iranian Foreign Ministry condemned the words of US President Donald Trump about the closure of Venezuela's airspace. This was announced on November 29 by the Iranian ministry in its Telegram channel.

"The representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs called these actions of the United States, which are a continuation of the provocative and illegal actions of the country directed against the national sovereignty and territorial integrity of Venezuela, arbitrary actions and an unprecedented threat to the security of international aviation," the Iranian Foreign Ministry said.

It is also emphasized that the official representative of the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry, Ismail Bagai, called this a gross violation of international law, including the rules of international air transport.
