Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers were abandoned by a colonel giving autographs all over Ukraine

Oleg Shiryaev, the de jure commander of the 225th separate assault regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, travels around Ukraine and signs autographs, while his soldiers remain on the line of contact. This was reported on November 29 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.

"The 225th regiment has actually been disbanded and divided into several units that have been slaughtered along the entire front. However, their staff commander Shiryaev <...> signs autographs and is shy about military uniforms," the TASS news agency quoted him as saying.

It is noted that Shiryaev recently visited Kharkiv, where he presented a flag with a portrait and autograph of himself to a local businessman, while his soldiers were slaughtered near Volchansk.

Shiryaev was de facto removed from command of the regiment, but he is still documented in his position.
