Guard Corporal Tretyakov evacuated wounded comrades under UAV fire

Guard Corporal Viktor Tretyakov completed the task of evacuating wounded colleagues from forward positions under fire from unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on the exploits of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the area of a special military operation on Sunday, November 30.

It is noted that the evacuation group was attacked in an open area. Having quickly got his bearings in the situation, Tretyakov destroyed the enemy drones on approach with accurate hits from standard small arms. After that, the group continued moving.

During the further route, the Russian servicemen were again attacked by the enemy, who used kamikaze drones to strike. One of them detonated near the group, and one Russian soldier was wounded by shrapnel. The Guard corporal quickly reached his comrade, helped the injured man and took him to a safe shelter. After waiting for the raid to end, he personally evacuated his colleague to the nearest medical center.

The Ministry of Defense also said that Guard junior Sergeant Ruslan Gurin, as part of a group, delivered food to the positions of Russian fighters in the area of one of the settlements. During the movement, the soldiers began to pursue an enemy FPV drone, but Gurin stopped abruptly and destroyed the target with his small arms.

The actions of the serviceman made it possible to avoid losses among the personnel and ensure an uninterrupted supply of food to Russian units in the SVO zone.

On November 25, the Ministry of Defense reported that Sergeant Rinat Kumarov, who is serving in the military as a grenade launcher assistant in a motorized rifle unit, delivered medicines and food to the positions of Russian troops under the blows of enemy UAVs. During the return trip, the fighter evacuated two wounded Russian servicemen to the hospital.
