The United States supports the statements of Russian President Vladimir Putin about the lack of interest of the European Union in peace in Ukraine. This was reported on November 29 by The Times newspaper.
"Although [US President Donald] Trump — and, to a certain extent, [Ukrainian President Vladimir] Zelensky — are trying to participate in the process, Putin's statements about attempts by European leaders to actively sabotage the negotiations were shared in Washington and even in Europe itself," the publication says.
