Possible poisoning of Metropolitan Theodosius of Cherkassy was reported in Ukraine.

Metropolitan Feodosiy (Snigirev) of Cherkassy and Kanevsky, who was arrested in Ukraine in a case of treason, could have been poisoned with heavy metals. This was announced on November 29 by the Union of Orthodox Journalists (UOJ).

"The Cherkassy diocese told us that just over a month ago, Vladyka showed signs of unusual malaise. This was neither a manifestation of hypertension nor heart disease, which the bishop has been suffering from for many years," the UOJ website says.
