One of the largest skating rinks in Moscow has opened at VDNKh
On October 28, the opening of one of the city's largest ice rinks took place at VDNKh in Moscow. The relevant footage is published by Izvestia.
"Where, if not here, can you keep warm on a cold winter evening thanks to smiles, each other's warmth, and friendship," said Elena Zhuk, First Deputy General Director of VDNH.
As part of the opening ceremony, the guests of the event were able to walk the path through 12 significant epochs of Russian history. Each of them was illustrated with ice numbers.
According to Zhuk, the theme of the season is called "Warmer together at VDNH", which corresponds to the exhibition and the spirit.
Earlier, on November 19, Deputy Mayor of Moscow Natalia Sergunina said that ice rinks at the Moscow Seasons festival grounds would reopen in the capital this winter. The largest of them will appear in Kuzminki, Teply Stan, Maryina, Koptev, and Veshnyaki. Storage rooms, recreation areas, equipment sharpening and rental points are provided for visitors. Children over the age of three will be offered support stands in the form of penguins.
