The White House has created a "hall of shame" for the media caught in lies
On November 28, a section with a "hall of shame" for the media caught spreading false news appeared on the official website of the White House.
"The Hall of Shame of criminals. A selection of false and misleading media reports highlighted by the White House. Scroll through to find out the truth," the authors urge.
The list includes such media outlets as The Washingtop Post (WP), CBS News, CNN, The Boston Globe, and The Independent.
In each specific case of incorrect presentation of the material, the publications and reporters who spread the lies are indicated. Also, in each example, the classification of journalistic errors is indicated. Among them are bias, negligence, distortion of facts, lies, "leftist madness," omission of context, and others.
"The media misinterpreted the call of the President [of the United States Donald] Trump is holding members of Congress accountable for sedition, saying he called for their "execution," the White House cites one of the violations.
Earlier, on November 3, it was reported that the BBC TV channel in 2021 falsified the speech of the American leader about the riots in the Capitol. According to The Telegraph, the channel created the impression that Trump was encouraging riots on Capitol Hill.
On November 7, White House press Secretary Caroline Leavitt called the BBC fake media after reports that she allegedly distorted the essence of the American leader's speech about the riots in the Capitol.
BBC Director General Tim Davey announced his resignation on November 9 after criticism over the editing of Trump's speech. According to him, the media is working well, but several mistakes have been made, and he, as CEO, must take full responsibility.
