On November 27, opposition representatives held mass protests in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. The relevant footage is published by Izvestia.

"The protesters took to the central Rustaveli Avenue to mark the anniversary of the riots they staged last year. Then they practically destroyed the entire avenue and staged constant clashes with the special forces of the Georgian Interior Ministry," said correspondent Giorgi Jabishvili.

Under the flags of the European Union (EU), the protesters tried to get the government to resign.

A day earlier, the Tbilisi City Court detained ten people accused of organizing riots in Tbilisi during a protest rally on October 4. There are no new circumstances in the case that would allow changing the measure of restraint.

Before that, on October 19, the Bm portal.ge, citing the Georgian Interior Ministry, reported that 14 protesters on Rustaveli Avenue were detained in Tbilisi because they artificially blocked the roadway and obstructed traffic.

Protests against the ruling Georgian Dream party began in Tbilisi on October 4 against the backdrop of the country's parliamentary elections. Correspondent Giorgi Jabishvili, who covered the protesters' march, noted that not only Georgian national flags could be seen in the crowd, but also American flags. The protesters broke the fence near the presidential palace.
