The State Duma spoke about the possible early payment of salaries for December

In some campaigns, the employer will pay the salary ahead of schedule if the usual payment date falls on the New Year holidays. This was announced on November 29 by Yaroslav Nilov, head of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs.

"If the payday coincides with a weekend or a public holiday, then the payment is made in advance. January is traditionally a specific month due to long weekends and non-working holidays, so if wages were to be paid during the holiday period, then the employer must do all this ahead of schedule, that is, before the end of December 2025," the TASS news agency quoted him as saying.

It is noted that most often employers try to pay salaries to employees before the New Year, even if the payday does not fall on holidays.
